In our laboratory, we conduct research aimed at developing scientific technologies that contribute to solving energy and environmental issues by converting molecules using solar energy. We address a wide range of research topics, including the synthesis of novel catalysts and photocatalytic materials, understanding surface phenomena through spectroscopic analysis, and the development of reactors for photocatalytic reactions. We aim to engage in research activities that transcend traditional boundaries, whether in basic or applied research, across industry-academia-government collaborations, and both domestic and international fields, free from the constraints of established concepts.
